Black Pearl Consult is seeking a highly skilled Legal Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with UAE legal regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drafting and Negotiating Contracts: You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts related to energy projects, procurement, and partnerships. Your expertise will ensure that all agreements align with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Legal Compliance and Risk Management: You will monitor and interpret changes in UAE legal regulations and laws, advising on compliance issues and implementing necessary changes in company practices. Your ability to identify potential legal risks and recommend strategies to mitigate them will be essential in maintaining the company's reputation.
  • Legal Advice and Support: You will provide legal advice to various departments on matters including corporate governance, labor law, environmental regulations, and intellectual property. Your expertise will ensure that the company remains compliant with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Document Management and Reporting: You will maintain accurate and organized legal documentation, prepare reports for senior management, and assist with regulatory filings and corporate governance matters.
Requirements:
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B) or equivalent is required. A Master's degree or additional qualifications in energy law or related fields is preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience as a legal specialist or in a similar legal role, preferably within the energy sector or a related industry.
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of UAE legal and regulatory frameworks, particularly in the energy/power/utilities sector. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
  • Travel and Work Environment: Willingness to travel and to work on-site based in Ajman. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
