Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Treasury Accountant to join our finance team at EDARI UAE. This role is crucial for managing our cash flow and ensuring the financial health of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Management: Oversee daily cash positions and facilitate fund transfers to appropriate accounts.
  • Interbank Transactions: Handle transactions through banking platforms efficiently.
  • Cash Flow Reporting: Prepare and analyze weekly and bi-weekly cash flow forecasts and reports.
  • Fixed Deposits: Manage fixed deposit processes and compile comprehensive monthly cash flow summaries.
  • Project Funding: Allocate resources to projects in accordance with specified guidelines.
  • Forex Monitoring: Supervise foreign exchange transactions to mitigate risks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable teams to ensure timely disbursements.
  • Reporting: Generate detailed cash flow reports for projects and entities as required by management.
  • Liquidity Assistance: Support management with insights regarding liquidity status.
Escrow Account Management
  • Liquidity Management: Administer liquidity and process equity for developers.
  • Financial Review: Assess financial data and manage profit withdrawals.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and manage retention transfers.
  • Trustee Coordination: Liaise with account trustees for payment processing and account setups.
  • Profit Updates: Maintain TAS with received profits.
Oracle Cash Management
  • Bank Account Oversight: Manage bank accounts and ensure timely upload of MT940 statements.
  • Transaction Configuration: Update transaction codes and set up sweeps effectively.
  • Interbank Accounting: Account for interbank transactions, including interest and fees.
  • Month-End Closing: Conduct month-end closing procedures and communicate findings with the General Ledger team.
  • Reconciliation: Perform bank account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
Bank Facility Management
  • Repayment Calculations: Calculate interest and principal repayments accurately.
  • Covenant Testing: Assist in the evaluation of financial covenants.
  • Loan Schedule Management: Oversee loan schedules and share relevant information with the General Ledger team.
  • Interest Provisions: Manage month-end loan schedules and interest provisions effectively.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Audit Support: Provide necessary treasury information for audit processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA designation is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior accounting role.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Oracle or similar ERP systems.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
