Job Description

As a key member of the EDARI UAE team, the Treasury Operations Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our treasury functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading comprehensive configurations and solution designs to build global cash positions and forecasting capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cash Management: Implement automated cash closing processes and secure H2H/Swift payments following complex approval matrices.
  • Statement Management: Daily review and management of MT940 statements for all accounts, identifying missing statements and ensuring availability.
  • Bank Configuration: Maintain accurate payment authorizers, bank configurations, mandates, and integration setups, overseeing changes in bank accounts and approval hierarchies.
  • Technical Support: Serve as the primary contact for issues related to SFTP, Swift, and H2H setups, coordinating with IT, banks, or TMS partners to resolve middleware issues.
  • Reconciliation: Conduct quarterly reconciliation of authorized signatories and dealer mandates, ensuring mandates are up-to-date and accurately reflected in bank records.
  • Project Management: Manage in-house rollouts, enhancements, user training, and integration requirements, providing support on ad hoc projects and reporting needs.
  • Process Improvement: Regularly monitor and identify improvement areas in Treasury operations, implementing fraud prevention setups and additional validation checks for unusual business scenarios.
  • Interface Management: Regularly review MT940 statement interfaces, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues with operating entities and banks.
  • Financial Coordination: Coordinate with Finance to ensure smooth accounting for bank reconciliations and financial transactions like loans, stock, and deposits at month-end.
  • User Administration: Handle user administration tasks, including setting up new verticals/entities/banks and maintaining accurate user profiles and permissions.
