We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Experience Specialist to join our team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Festival City. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring that every stay is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Check-in and Check-out: Swiftly check guests in and out, taking IDs, handing out room keys, and controlling and releasing safety deposit boxes.
  • Guest Communication: Acknowledge IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests, in person or on the phone, and handle their messages, requests, questions, and concerns.
  • Room Assignments and Up-selling: Take and manage guest bookings, up-selling opportunities, and inform guests about ways to improve their stay.
  • Cash and Credit Transactions: Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Guest Safety and Security: Follow safety procedures, report incidents, and wear protective gear as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless guest experiences and provide support when needed.
  • Ad-hoc Duties: Perform other duties as required to support the team and ensure the smooth operation of the front desk.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to handle guest concerns and compliments effectively.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential, with additional language skills a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in basic maths, reading, writing, and computer skills, particularly in our reservations system, Opera.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.
  • Education and Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a college or university degree a bonus. At least two years of experience in a front desk or guest service position in a 5-star property is preferred.
  • Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve guest satisfaction and hotel goals.
