Job Description

**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Associate to join our team at Core42. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a critical role in identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients, markets, and sectors for business expansion. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform business decisions.
  • Lead Generation and Qualification: Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling, networking, and lead generation activities. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue high-potential opportunities.
  • Client Relationship Building: Conduct introductory meetings with potential clients to present tailored proposals and solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to progress leads through the sales cycle.
  • Marketing Integration: Understand marketing campaigns and strategy to integrate this in all outreach and follow-up activity.
  • Support to Leadership Team: Support other business development initiatives and projects as assigned by the leadership team.

Requirements

  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport, negotiate effectively, and influence others.
  • Strong Networking Abilities: Strong networking abilities, confidently initiating and maintaining relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Results-Driven Mindset: Proactive and results-driven mindset, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and objectives.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic and creative thinking to identify new business opportunities and develop innovative solutions for client needs.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze market trends, customer data, and competitive intelligence for informed business decisions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Adaptability: Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adjusting strategies and approaches as needed for success.
