Document Management Specialist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring document accuracy, maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations, and facilitating smooth document retrieval and storage.
About the Role
- Organize, store, and maintain financial documents, including invoices, contracts, purchase orders, payment records, and audit files.
- Scanning all finance-related documents and ensuring all financial documents are properly classified, labeled, and stored for easy retrieval.
- Maintain both physical and digital document filing systems.
- Ensure financial documentation complies with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
- Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and records.
- Track document versions and updates to maintain compliance with financial regulations
- Verify and cross-check financial documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in reconciling discrepancies in financial records.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in document control, preferably in a finance or accounting environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
