About the Company:

We are Abroad Work, a company that provides administrative support services to individuals and businesses.

The Role:

  • We are looking for an experienced Accountant / Front Desk Receptionist to join our team in Abu Dhabi.
  • This role involves handling all accounting transactions, preparing budget projections, and managing closings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Handle all accounting transactions, including financial statements and tax returns.
  2. Prepare budget projections and manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings.
  3. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely bank settlements.
  4. Manage balance sheets and profit.
  5. Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.

Requirements:

  1. Work experience as an Accountant / Front Desk Receptionist.
  2. Excellent knowledge of audit laws and procedures, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  3. Hands-on experience with accounting software such as FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
  4. Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
  5. Experience with basic ledger functions.
  6. Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
  7. BSc in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant degree.
