We're looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Specialist to join our team at Chicago Bridge & Iron Company (CB&I). In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, establishing long-term customer relationships, and promoting CB&I Storage Solutions' products and services.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll need to have a proven track record of securing new business opportunities and establishing long-term customer relationships. You'll also need to possess advanced knowledge of CB&I Storage Solutions markets, products, clients, and customers, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Main Responsibilities
  • Secure new business opportunities and establish long-term customer relationships.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote CB&I Storage Solutions' products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Develop and execute plans to increase revenue growth.
  • Partner with customers to develop and maintain win/win relationships.
  • Manage territory and accounts to position the Company favorably for securing strong opportunities.
  • DIRECT Business Acquisition Team Interface, ensuring effective teaming with all stakeholders in the bid process.
  • Lead bid teams in reaching key decisions and establish and obtain approval for pre-contract efforts.
  • Manage all opportunity Gate review processes and obtain management approval as required.
Requirements
  • 10+ Years of Company/Industry experience.
  • Typically 5-8 years since first degree and 5+ Years' experience in a Business Development, Sales, Proposals, or Marketing role.
  • 3+ Years' experience in an Operational role preferred.
  • Professional degree (Engineering or BS Preferred).
  • Knowledge of CB&I Storage Engineering, Fabrication, and Construction methods.
  • Experience in Commercial Contracting and Negotiations.
  • Familiarity with the Energy & Construction Industry preferred.
