Job Description

Electra Europe is seeking a highly skilled Project Coordinator - Cost Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Project Managers with project documentation and cost allocation, ensuring the accuracy of sales and cost data, and providing insights and reporting to our Finance Manager and CFO.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Provide accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Cost Management: Collaborate with the estimation team to ensure accurate costing and analysis of project sales and costs.
  • Inventory Management: Analyze inventory aging across all warehouses and inventory categories, and prepare period analysis on non-moving inventory.
  • Business Intelligence: Support business stakeholders with pricing and investment decisions by providing project cost estimates, gross margin, and business case/NPV analysis.
  • Accounting and Reconciliation: Perform monthly GL reconciliation of Inventory, work-in-process, and COGS accounts, and review and track raw material price trends.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and finance.
  • Part- or fully-qualified professional certification in Cost & Management accounting (ACMA, CMA or equivalent).
  • 3 – 4 years of experience in project accountant or cost accountant role, ideally from manufacturing or events.
  • Excellent data analytics skills.
