Position Overview

The Employee Wellness Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing the wellness initiatives within the organization, ensuring a comprehensive approach to employee health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Oversee the financial planning and allocation for the wellness department, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Team Supervision: Lead and manage a team of wellness coaches, lifeguards, and support staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Facility Operations: Ensure the smooth operation of wellness facilities and programs, including fitness centers and community events.
  • Contract Management: Negotiate and manage service agreements with external vendors and contractors.
  • Event Coordination: Collaborate with various departments to design and implement a calendar of wellness events for the community.
  • Class Development: Plan and execute wellness classes aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles among employees.
  • Reporting: Generate detailed reports for senior management to assess program effectiveness and areas for improvement.
  • Request Approval: Review and approve all service requests related to wellness activities.
  • Booking System Oversight: Monitor and manage the online booking system for wellness services, ensuring optimal functionality.
Qualifications and Skills Required
  • Bachelor's degree in sports science or a related field, along with relevant industry certifications.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in corporate wellness management.
  • Proven experience in exercise program management and class facilitation.
  • Expertise in designing and executing community wellness events.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized, efficient, and dependable.
  • Adaptability to diverse environments and cultures.
  • Willingness to maintain flexible working hours.
