Job Summary:
Fujairah National Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, adhering to company standards, and maintaining the highest level of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Execution: Assist the Project Managers in executing all project requirements, ensuring that quality, health, and safety policies are strictly implemented.
- Site Management: Undertake survey and site settings, manage manpower, and oversee the day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
- Design and Scheduling: Monitor and interpret the design and drawings supplied by the design department, and ability to interpret project schedules and adhere to agreed timelines.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all materials used, and work performed is as per specifications, and report in case of discrepancies.
- Material Selection and Requisition: Oversee the selection and requisition of materials, and liaise with consultants, subcontractors, supervisors, quantity surveyors, and the general workforce involved in the project.
- Planning and Organization: Plan the work and efficiently organize the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
- Health and Safety: Responsible for overseeing quality control and health and safety matters onsite, and observe safety requirements.
- Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports as required, check materials and work in progress for compliance with the specified requirements, and provide data in respect of variation orders and site instructions.
- Site Updates and Inspections: Provide daily site updates to project managers with photographs and progress of work at site, and coordinate and plan authority inspections and approvals.
Requirements:
- Highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in construction management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and the general workforce.
- Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to interpret project schedules and adhere to agreed timelines.
- Strong knowledge of quality control and health and safety policies and procedures.
