Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our receivables collection team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in debt collection, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Client Relationships
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure timely and effective debt collection.
    • Provide regular updates and case summaries to clients to ensure transparency and trust.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and mentor a team of debt collectors to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance and productivity.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the receivables collection team, including tracking leave, attendance, and performance.
    • Monitor key performance indicators to ensure team targets are achieved.
  • Dispute Resolution
    • Resolve customer and client disputes through mutual agreements and settlement plans.
    • Negotiate payment plans with customers when necessary.
  • Process Improvement
    • Continuously review and improve processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance team performance.

Requirements

  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field.
  • Experience
    • At least 3 years of experience in debt collection, with a strong background in team leadership and management.
  • Skills
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
