Job Summary

Ajmal Makan Real Estate Development is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's payroll functions, ensuring the accurate and timely payment of employee wages and salaries.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Payroll Processing
    1. Process monthly or other periodic payrolls, including calculations for overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
    2. Ensure accuracy in the calculation of wages and salaries, including adjustments and corrections.
    3. Handle entire WPS process from SIF creation to uploading on bank's portal.
    4. Manage timekeeping systems and ensure accurate recording of employee hours worked.
  2. Record Keeping
    1. Maintain up-to-date and accurate payroll records, including employee information, pay rates, and deductions.
    2. Prepare and file payroll reports as required by management.
  3. Compliance
    1. Ensure compliance with federal and local payroll laws and regulations.
    2. Stay updated on changes in labor laws and other relevant regulations.
  4. Benefits Administration
    1. Administer employee benefits such as health insurance, pension payments, leaves, and other deductions.
    2. Address and resolve payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies from employees.
    3. Work with HR management and finance departments to ensure proper handling of payroll issues.
  5. Reporting
    1. Generate and distribute payroll reports, including summaries and detailed breakdowns, to management.
    2. Prepare and submit required documentation for audits and financial reviews.
  6. System Maintenance
    1. Maintain and update payroll software and systems to ensure efficient processing and accuracy.
    2. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues or errors in payroll processing.
Qualifications
  1. Education

    An Associate's degree in accounting, finance, human resources, or a related field; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

  2. Experience

    Proven experience as a Payroll Officer or similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll and benefits administration.

  3. Skills
    1. Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
    2. Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
    3. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    4. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    5. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
