Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Duty Engineer - Technical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts. As a key member of our Engineering Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's technical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and Repair Equipment: Troubleshoot and repair hotel equipment, including MEP technical maintenance and HVAC equipment, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Manager and DOE: Work closely with the Engineering Manager and DOE to carry out assigned responsibilities and contribute to the development of the maintenance program and operation schedule.
  • Contribute to Operational Efficiency: Contribute to the day-to-day operational efficiency of the Engineering Department, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Monitor and Report Utilities and Service Desk System: Monitor and report on daily utilities (Electric-Water-CW-Gas) and service desk system performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Supervise Preventive Maintenance Schedule: Supervise and control the preventive maintenance schedule, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and that checklists are followed for Boiler, Chiller, Emergency Generators, Fire Pumps, Kitchen, Refrigeration, HVAC/Laundry, etc.
  • Update Daily Events and Guestroom Status: Keep updates of daily events, especially on Banquets and Guestroom status, giving emphasis to VIPs, and ensure that all relevant information is communicated to the relevant departments.
  • Coordinate with Housekeeping and Front Office: Coordinate daily with Housekeeping and Front Office to ensure that guestrooms are ready for occupancy and that all necessary arrangements are made for VIPs.
  • Ensure Health and Safety: Ensure the health and safety of the property, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Maintain Preventive Maintenance Records: Maintain records of preventive maintenance activities, ensuring that all necessary documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Ensure Quality and Progress: Ensure that the work quality and standard of the engineering team are at a good level, and that all tasks are completed in a timely and effective manner.
  • Coordinate with Other Departments: Coordinate with other department's counterparts to ensure that their satisfaction on quality and progress is met.
