The Interactive Lead is a key member of the Experience Design (XD) team at Apple Inc., responsible for providing leadership and expertise in the development of interactive experiences for the Apple Store app, social media platforms, and digital signage. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and motivate a team of designers to deliver high-quality interactive experiences that meet Apple's brand standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including writers, designers, developers, and creative technologists, to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Provide critical feedback on deliverables and work closely with leadership to deliver elegant XD thinking and documentation.
  • Articulate the rationale behind design decisions and exhibit strong managerial skills to guide the internal team and external partners.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in experience design, content strategy, and system design.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in information architecture and experience design.
  • Portfolio that showcases applied knowledge of usability, user-centered design, and content strategy.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present and explain XD directions to a broad audience.
  • Fluent in analytics, usability tests, and other forms of qualitative and quantitative feedback.
  • Experience with content strategy and platform design, from large-scale marketing sites to transactional commerce sites.
  • Proficient in Web and app experience design and familiar with current development technologies.
