About the Opportunity
Groupon is a marketplace where customers discover new experiences and services every day, and local businesses thrive. We're looking for a skilled Sales Partnership Manager to join our Business Development team.
In this role, you'll focus on building partnerships with new Groupon merchants, learning about what makes small businesses tick, and crafting unique marketing campaigns to help them reach their targeted audiences.
You'll work closely with merchant development teams to ensure seamless transitions and alignment on merchant strategy.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in an inside sales or business development role, and a proven track record of meeting sales quotas and negotiating deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants to understand their business needs and goals.
- Craft and implement effective marketing strategies to help merchants reach their target audiences.
- Work closely with merchant development teams to ensure seamless transitions and alignment on merchant strategy.
- Consistently achieve and/or exceed your sales targets.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
- 2-3 years of success in a sales role within a territory or for a product.
- Inside sales experience over the phone/email and social selling.
- Proven depth of knowledge and experience in transactional selling.
