Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:
    Develop and recommend promotional strategies aimed at achieving revenue targets within the assigned accounts. Actively engage in planning discussions, offering valuable insights on customer trends to identify potential opportunities and challenges, ensuring that product offerings and pricing strategies align with market demands.
  • Implementation:
    Assess and refine sales strategies within the territory, providing actionable recommendations to maintain a competitive edge. Oversee the distribution of high-quality marketing materials and promotional content.
  • Team Leadership:
    Collaborate closely with various sales teams and business units to maximize business opportunities effectively. Collect and analyze competitor data and market trends to assist management in enhancing sales strategies, ensuring the organization remains a market leader.
  • Performance Execution:
    Meet or exceed revenue and client acquisition targets within the designated area, supporting the organization's growth objectives. Implement and track incentive programs with travel trade and corporate clients, ensuring compliance with established guidelines. Prepare regular reviews and reports detailing sales performance and financial metrics, providing insights and recommendations to the Sales Manager.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Completion of secondary education or equivalent.
  • Over 5 years of experience in commercial sales.
  • Proven sales experience within the travel or airline sector.
  • Background in the travel agency, GDS, or airline industry, with at least 5 years in an outdoor sales and marketing role.
  • Familiarity with Sabre GDS is advantageous.
  • Current knowledge of travel trade distribution is essential.
  • Experience in the travel trade and corporate sector is crucial.
  • Exceptional customer service, presentation, and negotiation skills are required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Must be adaptable, a strong team player, and able to work under pressure.
  • A valid UAE driver's license is necessary.
  • Willingness to work outside regular hours and on weekends as needed.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
