Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for engaging major logistics partnerships and networks.
- Manage and maintain relationships with partners and vendors, negotiating favorable contracts and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Work closely with the Director of Global Operations to ensure that our logistics goals are met.
- Develop and implement joint marketing and business development plans to expand our market share.
- Represent DumaTrans at events and conferences as required.
- Provide detailed reporting and insight to the senior and executive team on network performance.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that partnerships and networks are aligned with our overall strategic goals.
- Ensure that partners comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Analyze logistics data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to improve performance.
- Manage the budget for partnerships and networks and ensure that expenditures are within budgetary limits.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics management, including experience managing logistics partnerships and networks in the freight forwarding industry.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Experience with logistics software and technology, including Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and other related technologies.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English, and proficiency in other languages is a plus.
