Job DescriptionThe Pursuit Leader APJ will be responsible for leading the largest and most strategic migration pursuits in APJ, working closely with cross-functional teams across AWS to support and execute deal shaping and approvals.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and long-term about the needs of complex global businesses, influencing AWS decision makers through previous sales or major deals experience.
This role requires a strong bias for action, strategic planning skills, quantitative analysis, and the ability to coordinate and deliver new initiatives across a highly-matrixed organization.
Key Responsibilities- Drive top/strategic deals in APJ, engaging early with customer decision makers and account teams to shape account/deal strategies and build strong value propositions.
- Establish and manage key deal review mechanisms, including win strategy, executive alignment, and deal shaping.
- Coach enterprise account teams to structure complex deals and compelling proposals that address business outcomes of strategic customers.
- Ensure investments and resource allocation meet compliance regulations and profitability guidelines.
