About the Job

Talent Pal is seeking a seasoned Communications Manager to lead our internal and external communications efforts in the Middle East and North Africa region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy that aligns with our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Internal Communications
    • Design and execute a tailored communications plan to keep employees informed of company priorities and initiatives.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and leadership to develop creative communication plans and share information, policies, and learnings that reinforce our company culture, mission, and values.
    • Conceptualize and implement internal communications initiatives that inspire employee ambassadorship and strong employer branding.
    • Develop strong PowerPoint presentations to visually report business performance, key events, and launches.
    • Write and animate published materials for email communication, intranet articles, and scripts.
  • External Communications
    • Develop Danone MENA brand narratives and storytelling, leveraging global and local priorities, and deliver PR strategies to support company announcements.
    • Liaise and collaborate with media, key stakeholders, and government authorities to build company reputation and shape stories.
    • Cultivate strong relationships to ensure company reputation and represent Talent Pal positively to external stakeholders.
    • Anticipate and introduce communication trends and opportunities, such as social media and AI.
  • Event and Project Management
    • Manage projects against defined project plans, such as annual sustainability assessments and B Corp certification.
    • Manage the largest annual event for all employees, developing brand themes, agendas, speakers, and event flows, as well as communicating to all employees and MCing at the event.
    • Manage all event logistics, budgets, agendas, and speakers for internal events in the MENA region.
  • Danone Website Management
    • Regularly maintain and develop content for the Danone MENA corporate website.
  • Leadership
    • Mentor and lead the Communications Coordinator on all upcoming key activations and plans, supporting on animating and developing announcements.
    • Ensure the facilitation of team career growth and ambitions in line with the Talent Pal team objectives.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Communications role.
  • Prior experience in people management is a plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Corporate Affairs, or a similar degree.
Skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal and presentation skills.
  • Digital/social media planning and activation.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent event management and coordination.
  • Strong ability to build strong relationships inside and outside the organization.
  • Creative strategic vision and collaborative mindset.
  • Experienced in crisis communications and management.
  • Strong PowerPoint/Word/Excel skills.
  • Photoshop/InDesign/Canva (basic knowledge advantageous).
Languages
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and Arabic are mandatory.
  • Proficiency in French is a plus.
Mobility

Candidates should be open to moving within the region or outside the region with Talent Pal in 3-4 years if such an opportunity arises, which will contribute to their career growth.
