VIE Middle East Support Front Officer

The Middle East Support Front Officer, SFO Dubai, is responsible for coordinating the end-to-end Know Your Customer (KYC) process for all business lines covered in Dubai and Saudi. This role involves prioritizing and overseeing the onboarding process from start to finish within the Middle East region, leveraging contacts within the bank and outside to fulfill this task.
The SFO Dubai also handles KYC Review campaigns on behalf of the Front Office Responsible (FOR). As a key point of contact for Front Officers, operations, KYC, Compliance, and Tax officers, this role ensures seamless communication and collaboration across teams.
This position is instrumental in improving the overall efficiency of KYC renewals for existing clients and onboarding new ones.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and Maintain Front Office Responsible (FOR) and Front Office Escalation (FOE) for KYC Campaigns.
- Confirm Strategy for collecting documents with relevant bankers and serve as the point of contact for client inquiries regarding the KYC process.
- Collect and Consolidate Business Activities with various bankers/business lines/regions and confirm and validate client deactivations with the Primary Client Relationship Unit (PCRU).
- Ease Front Officers' Tasks in collecting necessary documents for the bank's due diligence in terms of KYC, embargo, AML, Tax, etc., and control the quality of documents submitted by customers.
- Collect and Consolidate Data for regular reporting to management and Compliance and prepare presentations for the location regulator or internal inspection, when required.
- Ensure Internal Stakeholders Adhere to local processes and relevant data is recorded to be presented to the region on a weekly basis, raising alerts wherever required.
- Update Local Onboarding Procedure and cascade it to the region when necessary.
- Participate in Ad Hoc Meetings with Compliance on sensitive/urgent deals, being cooperative and willing to help, anticipating and solving issues.
Graduate with a Master's degree from an Engineering School or University.
Fluent in English and a second language is a plus, but not a must.
Understanding of Business Processes: KYC, contract types, regulatory controls (Tax, MIFID, EMIR, DFA...).
Client-Oriented with the ability to interact at any level with clients.
Cooperation and ability to work with multiple interlocutors of different levels/backgrounds and from various business units.
Results-Oriented with a capacity for problem-solving.
Negotiation Skills and intellectual rigor regarding the follow-up of priorities and files.
