  • Receiving and Processing Deliveries: Efficiently receive, unload, and process incoming shipments, ensuring all freight is accounted for based on invoices and receiving documentation.
  • Inventory Management: Stage merchandise by department, marking items appropriately for optimal placement within the facility. Maintain accurate records of received inventory and complete necessary inventory reports and logs.
  • Shipping Reconciliation: Verify and reconcile shipping invoices with receiving reports to ensure accuracy in counts and conditions of packages.
  • Package Handling: Manage the receipt, storage, shipping, and delivery of all incoming and outgoing departmental packages and mail.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security of the receiving area and its contents, adhering to all national, state, and local regulations regarding hazardous materials.
  • Guest Communication: Interact with guests regarding their received packages, verifying quantities and conditions prior to delivery.
  • Tracking System Maintenance: Maintain an accurate tracking system for all shipping and receiving transactions, including obtaining guest signatures for received packages.
  • Issue Reporting: Communicate any discrepancies, losses, or damages regarding packages to the appropriate management personnel.
