Job Summary

The System IT & Marketing Specialist is a highly skilled professional responsible for bridging the gap between technical IT support and digital marketing initiatives. This role requires a versatile individual capable of managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure while driving digital marketing efforts to enhance the company's online presence and brand awareness.

Key ResponsibilitiesIT Responsibilities:
  • System Administration:
    • Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems, including servers, routers, and firewalls.
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure security protocols are in place.
    • Provide technical support to staff, resolving IT-related issues promptly.
    • Manage backups, data recovery, and disaster recovery plans.
    • Ensure compliance with IT policies and manage IT assets and inventory.
  • Network Management:
    • Oversee the network infrastructure, ensuring connectivity, security, and performance.
    • Implement network upgrades and improvements as needed.
    • Manage VPNs, network security protocols, and access controls.
  • Cybersecurity:
    • Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures to protect the company's digital assets.
    • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
    • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and implement preventive measures.
Marketing Responsibilities:
  • Digital Marketing:
    • Develop, implement, and manage digital marketing campaigns across various platforms, including social media, email, and SEO.
    • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
    • Manage the company's website, ensuring it is up-to-date, secure, and optimized for search engines.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content that aligns with the company's brand and goals.
  • Content Creation:
    • Assist in the creation of marketing materials, including graphics, videos, and written content.
    • Coordinate with external vendors or freelancers for additional marketing support when needed.
  • Data Analytics:
    • Utilize data analytics tools to track and report on marketing performance metrics.
    • Provide actionable insights based on data analysis to improve marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in IT system administration or support.
  • 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably with a focus on B2B or B2C environments.
  • Proficiency in network management, system administration, and cybersecurity.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools, such as Google Analytics, SEO tools, and social media platforms.
  • Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications in IT (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) or Digital Marketing (e.g., Google AdWords, HubSpot).
  • Experience with cloud computing and virtual environments.
  • Knowledge of web design and development.
