Role Overview

As a Legal Advisor for Investment Management, you will play a crucial role in providing expert legal guidance to our investment fund. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of legal aspects that are vital for the fund's operations and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Legal Advisory Services: Deliver thorough legal counsel on diverse issues, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, financing arrangements, and corporate governance.
  • Transaction Oversight: Manage the structuring and execution of investment transactions, ensuring adherence to legal standards and conducting comprehensive due diligence on investment prospects.
  • Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks, staying informed about legal and regulatory developments that may influence the fund's activities.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements and legal documents to protect the fund's interests while minimizing potential legal risks.
  • Litigation Coordination: Work collaboratively with external legal counsel to handle and resolve disputes, effectively representing the fund's interests.
  • Legal Research: Perform in-depth legal research and analysis on emerging issues impacting the fund's investments, providing proactive legal insights.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate legal requirements, risk assessments, and compliance protocols to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
  • Qualified lawyer with a common law background and a solid academic foundation.
  • 5-8 years of legal experience in a reputable law firm, with a focus on corporate and commercial law.
  • Expertise in deal structuring, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Knowledge of the regulatory landscape in the UAE and international jurisdictions.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in legal research and analytical thinking.
  • Able to thrive in a multicultural and diverse team environment.
  • Fluency in Arabic is highly desirable.
