Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Reception Desk Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, problem-solving capabilities, and a professional demeanor.
- Provide a warm and welcoming reception to all visitors.
- Handle phone calls and inquiries from parents and stakeholders with poise and professionalism.
- Maintain effective communication between staff and parents to ensure seamless coordination.
- Oversee the reception area during drop-off, pick-up times, and special events to ensure everything runs smoothly.
- Check emails daily and respond promptly to ensure timely communication.
- Promote the school to prospective parents and support the admissions department as required.
- Review the daily student attendance register and follow up on absences or tardiness to ensure accurate records.
- Assist with fire drills and evacuation procedures to guarantee the safety of students and staff.
- Support other team members with additional tasks as necessary to demonstrate your adaptability and teamwork spirit.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using office applications including Google Workspace to efficiently manage tasks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and ensure seamless operations.
- Ability to multitask and manage a fast-paced environment with ease.
- Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor to provide exceptional customer service.
- Fluency in English to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and students.
- Experience using a school MIS, CRM, and other educational software to streamline tasks.
