Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager will be accountable for the development of sales for Leica Biosystems in KSA. The main objective will to maximize sales and profitability across the entire Leica Biosystems product range through aggressively gaining market share from competitors. Essential to this position will be the “drive for results” to win business in a competitive and emerging market place. The Regional Sales Manager needs to have the ability to develop a strategic thinking for the region. He/she needs to be able to build the strategic plans to win now and in the future.
Also essential within this role will be the effective management of sales through the use of DBS (Danaher Business System) tools to maximize the conversion of leads/prospects into revenue.

Major Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager will lead sales activity for Leica Biosystems in KSA. The main focus of the role is to generate sales through the planning and execution of a KSA specific commercial strategy. This role will also focus on leading and building relationships with channel partners and key customers to increase market share across the entire Leica Biosystems product range.

Commercial Strategy
Develops and owns a regional sales strategy to aggressively gain market share ensuring core growth and consistent delivery of financial targets
Leads business cases and drives follows up on product registrations in appropriate market expansions
Ensures and leads compliance with Danaher guidelines in all aspects.
Translates strategy into actionable tactics on a daily basis.
Uses DBS tools to formulate sales strategy and to effectively manage sales pipeline.
Keeps up to date with market trends and healthcare policy.
Identifies potential business partners to improve market reach and build key commercial relationships.
Presents Leica Biosystems solutions concepts to customers and secure supply agreements.
Ensures that the appropriate level of marketing activities is implemented for the region.
Promotes the entire Leica Biosystems product range to potential customers utilizing distribution partnership
Establishes and develops relationships with key account customer contacts with the appropriate buying power
Regularly reviews own business to identify gaps and to implement corrective countermeasures.

Distribution Management
Actively leads and manages performance of channel partners, taking appropriate action when performance does not meet expectations
Continuously evaluates and looks for optimum distribution channels for the entire product range.
Ensure direct reports and Distribution Partners are compliant with all aspects of Danaher compliance and use Leica CRM tool

Product Development
Provides input to business units to keep the product portfolio in line with customer expectations.

Applies DBS tools in all areas to maximize results and reduce waste.

Working Capital Management
Ensures optimum demo management, low inventory and efficient cash collection.
