Position**:Sales Manager**

Job Location**:Abu Dhabi**

To set strategies and manage the revenue management, sales and promotional activities of the Al Forsan International Sports Resort focusing on and the Key Market Segments which includes, Leisure Individuals and Groups, Travel Agents, DMC’s & Hotels, Corporate Groups, Schools & Universities, Embassies, Institutions and Federations and Government Institutions and Organizations. To assist, coach and coordinate the sales activities across the organisation.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

**Sales**
- Works with the management team to improve product and quality within Al Forsan International Sports Resort
- To develop Al Forsan International Sports Resort sales business plans and budget and thereafter, evaluate business trends to modify strategies and then interpret, analyse and manages budget to meet business objectives
- Provide constructive coaching and counselling to fellow employees
- To work with and motivate the sales team to develop the revenue management process of Al Forsan international Sports Resort
- To maximize profitability for Al Forsan International Sports Resort, with a total revenue focus for major revenue centres which includes, Food & Beverage, Equestrian, Shooting, Water Sport, Karting, Recreational, Retail and all other revenue opportunities consistent with company objectives
- To identify prospective business partners for the purpose of growth
- To promote and strengthen the positioning of Al Forsan International Sports Resort for the key business and market segments
- Preparation and administration of overall department budget and preparation of monthly and long-term strategic department plan
- Monitoring the sales performance through the compilation and preparation of all sales reports including forecast, budgets, weekly and monthly forecasts to ensure company objectives are met
- Selection, training, supervision, and development of all sales and marketing personnel
- Extensive interaction with all departments within Al Forsan International Sports Resort in providing information concerning servicing and handling our members and guests
- Development and maintenance of key accounts through personal sales calls, correspondence with existing and potential client base, and attendance at both travel and related industry meetings and trade shows
- Planning, developing and implementing sales programs designed to maximize revenues consistent with company objectives
- Motivates and provides a work environment in which employee satisfaction can be reached
- Bring new events revenue to Al Forsan through activations, events and exhibitions hosted at the resort.
- Bring in sponsorship deals to maximise on revenue throughout the resort
- Any adhoc duties that may be assigned from time to time

**Membership / Loyalty**:

- Assist in the development and implementation of the new membership/loyalty plan and enrolment and retention strategies and member events
- Ensure that an excellent rapport is established with new members in order to receive referrals. Thereby achieving membership enrolment targets
- Establish database and maintain accurate records of members and prospective members for effective communication and promotion of Al Forsan activities for both members and public
- Represent Al Forsan International Sports Resort in community activities and organizations to provide community awareness of Al Forsan and develop sources for prospective members
- Assists with the creation, organizations and hosting of member events to attract and retain members
- Assists HOD with the coordination of protocol associated with the visits of VVIP Members & Guests

**Minimum Qualifications & Experience**:

- Master’s degree or Bachelor in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field or equivalent commercial experience
- Minimum 5 years’ UAE experience in hospitality and / or sports facilities environment
- Experience in an integrated Private or Semi-Private Resort and Country Club or Sports Club with both Membership and Public access in a senior leadership role
- Excellent leadership skills with experience of driving performance in teams
- Ability to provide honest feedback and constructive criticism to the team
- Highly organized and detail-oriented; hands-on commitment to getting the job done, multi-tasking and time management
- Strong understanding of database structures, reporting tools and computer systems
- Strong leadership skills, organizational and planning abilities including the ability to deal with/work under pressure and tight deadlines
- Strong analytical/problem solving, quantitative abilities and ability to work under pressure and handle stress
- Effective professional verbal and written communication skills both in Arabic & English along with solid presentation skills, reporting and documentation skills
