**ROLE PURPOSE**:
Reporting to ADAC’s CIO, the Head IT Programme Delivery is responsbible for the planning, staffing, execution and delivery of all IT and digital projects across ADAC and its subsidiaries in coordination with the ADAC technology department, business departments and external stakeholders. Establish an IT PMO (project management office), IT programme management methodology and associated governance to ensure that all projects in the IT PMO portfolio are delivered in line with business and stakeholders needs, on time and within budget. The Head IT Programme Delivery will lead a team of project managers, business analysts and delivery partners.

**BUDGET ACCOUNTABILITY**

Direct:
IT and Digital project budgets in the IT PMO portfolio (CAPEX and OPEX) valued up to AED 100m.

IT PMO OPEX budget (e.g. PMO resources, PMO software).

Indirect:
Contribute to the annual budget planning for the Technology department.

**KEY ACCCOUNTABILITIES**
- Prepare and communicate the department''s IT PMO strategy, objectives and operational plan in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders and in line with ADAC’s strategic performance management framework and scorecard.
- Manage the execution of the IT PMO’s objectives and plan
- Propose and communicate KPI’s for the IT PMO and its employees and ensure they are in line with ADAC’s strategic performance management framework and scorecard
- Develop and manage the IT and Digital project budgets in the IT PMO portfolio (CAPEX and OPEX)
- Develop the IT PMO budget and monitor budget spend in coordination with relevant sections
- Provide guidance to direct line reports on budget optimization opportunities where applicable
- Oversee the performance of the IT PMO in line with the operational plan defined
- Engage with the CIO to identify opportunities to improve department’s performance
- Coach the IT PMO team, IT project managers and business project managers in the ADAC IT programme management methodology, tools and techniques.
- In conjunction with the VP Digital, coach the IT PMO team, IT project managers and business project managers in the ADAC digital (agile) development framework.
- Responsible for identifying the training and development needs of the IT PMO department employees with a special focus on Emiratization.
- Maintain constant availability of the required number of competent staff to support the IT PMO in meeting all its responsibilities, plans, and objectives.
- Provide constructive feedback to direct reports and provide inputs to the division head on performance of employees
- Establish an IT PMO (project management office) and IT programme management methodology for managing the successful implementation and delivery of all IT and Digital projects across ADAC.
- Lead the project planning and management of all IT and Digital projects across ADAC and its subsidiaries in coordination with the ADAC technology department, business departments and external stakeholders.
- Build strategic relationships with vendors and contractors for IT and Digital projects to ensure the maximum value add without compromising on efficiency.
- Ensure the alignment of requirements and expectations with the relevant stakeholders, including the end users for IT and Digital projects, for the successful execution of project deliverables
- Review project progress / performance reports and highlight any potential delays or budget overruns and advise on the recommended course of action to ensure the successful delivery of IT and Digital projects within the planned timelines, budgets and quality standards
- Review the potential project associated risks and approve the plan for mitigation controls to ensure completing the project successfully within the planned budget and timelines
- Ensure the provision of the necessary post-delivery support to the end users across ADAC and its subsidiaries in coordination with the concerned technology services business units
- Propose improvement opportunities and preventive measures to enhance the services provided by the IT projects department
- Develop the IT programme management metholdology, policies and procedures in line with the directive and role within ADAC
- Ensure that the required IT project governance is in place for all IT and Digital projects across the portfolio
- Ensure compliance of the department to the guidelines defined by division/department’s, such as, HR, legal, risk and quality assurance in addition to ADAC’s framework and DoA
