2. **Supervision**: Oversee the meat cutting process, ensuring that all cuts are made accurately and efficiently by junior butchers or team members.

3. **Inventory Management**: Maintain proper inventory of meats, ensuring freshness, proper storage, and rotation of stock.

4. **Quality Control**: Ensure the highest standards of meat quality, including appearance, freshness, and flavor. Reject or discard subpar cuts.

5. **Sanitation and Safety**: Adhere to strict food safety and sanitation standards to prevent contamination and ensure a safe work environment.

6. **Customer Service**: Interact with customers, providing recommendations, answering questions, and fulfilling custom cut requests.

7. **Equipment Maintenance**: Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of cutting tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.

8. **Pricing and Labeling**: Price meat products accurately and label them appropriately with weight, price, and other required information.

9. **Training**: Train and mentor junior butchers or staff on proper meat cutting techniques and safety procedures.

10. **Ordering and Procurement**: Assist in ordering meat supplies, taking into account demand and quality factors.

**Qualifications**:
1. **Experience**: Several years of experience as a butcher, with a proven track record in meat cutting and butchery.

2. **Expertise**: In-depth knowledge of different types of meat cuts, animal anatomy, and the ability to adapt to various cutting styles.

3. **Attention to Detail**: Exceptional attention to detail and precision in meat cutting.

4. **Safety Awareness**: Strong commitment to safety protocols and food handling regulations.

5. **Customer Service**: Good communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service.

6. **Team Leadership**: Experience in leading a team of butchers or meat department staff.

7. **Physical Stamina**: Physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy cuts of meat.

8. **Certifications**: Relevant food safety or butchery certifications may be required.

9. **Adaptability**: Willingness to adapt to changing customer demands and seasonal variations in meat availability.
