**InterContinental Dubai Marina** is a Five Star luxury hotel in the heart of Dubai Marina with 328 rooms and residence suites, flexible event space and restaurants & bars. With over 30 languages and countries represented by the staff, the hotel weaves together an international five star presence.

**Your day to day**
This role is a key member of the hotel management team and is working closely with the Director of Revenue and Director of Sales & Marketing.

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

- Maximise hotel revenue, RevPAR, GOP and guest satisfaction by making sure that all reservation enquires are professionally, and promptly handled
- Motivate, and develop the reservations team on an ongoing basis
- Recruiting, training and development of reservations staff
- Delivers a pro-active sales culture within the department, exercising and ensuring proper selling and up-selling techniques are implemented to generate maximum revenue for the hotel
- Managing third party sites and agents to control inventory, handle close-out dates and overbooking situation
- Ensure the proper implementation of reservations procedures and the team to meet stretched targets
- Generate a culture of high quality standards of customer service, selling techniques, and billing and processing contracts
- Maintains accurate records of data essential to future business plans and generates weekly and monthly reports required by the management
