**Role**
Seeking a highly proficient Manager who has experience and expertise in Bid Management
- Acts as the quality gate and needs to secure sign-off on all proposals communicated to the customer
- Proposal Release authority
- Jointly strategize BAFO with sales counterpart and supporting functions.
- Authority to trigger variation order and negotiations with customer.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assumes the accountability and the responsibility for the end to end customer proposals (technical and financial)
- Responsible to analyze the customer requests, assign the virtual team members responsible for response
- Make sure that a thorough check list is done and concluded before submission of any consolidated response to customers
- Works with the document management team to sign a document reference and base version for each concluded response and acts as the custodian of the active version of the response during the proposal and response creation process
- Identify early any risk areas of the requests or any delays that may impact the turn around time.
- Ultimate responsible for the quality of the final response to the customer
- Have a straight direct line escalation path to the BD Operation leadership and the VP of Business Development
- Actively participate in the sales forecast meetings; providing inputs and highlighting best practices and areas of development
- Manage contract preparation during negotiation stage
- Manage contract execution during delivery phase
- Taking a lead role in solving commercial issues that may arise
- Managing budgets, expenses and pricing and commercial arrangements
- Driving efficiencies to ensure contracts remain financially viable and delivered on budget
- Analyzing the business performance, including the profitability, revenue, pricing and cost of goods sold

- Preparing models to assess future profitability of identified opportunities
Qualifications:
**To qualify, you must have**
- 8-10 years of experience in Bid management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate and influence cross-functional teams
- Ability to work with virtual and cross function teams
- Exposure and conceptual understanding of contract law and pricing
- Strong commercial acumen and business understanding
- Ability to manage both internal and customer relationships
- Excellent leadership qualities being team orientated, with strong relationship and interpersonal skills
- Advanced negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management abilities
- Command of financial metrics and tools
- Fluent in English, both speech and writing
- Proficiency in Arabic is preferred
- Ability to travel when needed
