Overview:
Seeking a highly proficient manager who has experience and expertise in Bid Management to join our Commercial team in Presight.
- Acts as the quality gate and needs to secure sign-off on all proposals communicated to the customer
- Authority to trigger variation order and negotiations with customer.

- Bid Strategy: Collaborate with the Commercial Director and key stakeholders to develop bid strategies aligned with the organization's business objectives. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to identify opportunities for bidding.
- Bid Coordination: Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams involved in the bid process, including technical experts, sales teams, finance, legal, and other relevant departments. Establish clear roles, responsibilities, and timelines for each team member.
- Proposal Development: Prepare comprehensive bid proposals that address the client's requirements, including technical solutions, pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms. Ensure that proposals are compliant with the organization's standards and client specifications.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks associated with the bid and develop risk mitigation strategies. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to assess contractual terms and conditions, as well as financial implications.
- Client Relationship Management: Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients during the bid process. Engage with clients to understand their needs, address queries, and provide necessary clarifications.
- Pricing and Financial Analysis: Work with the finance team to develop competitive and profitable pricing strategies. Conduct financial analysis to evaluate the cost structures, profit margins, and return on investment for each bid.
- Proposal Review: Conduct thorough reviews of bid documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with requirements. Coordinate internal and external reviews, incorporating feedback to enhance bid quality.
- Bid Submission: Manage the timely and accurate submission of bids to clients, adhering to deadlines and submission protocols.
- Bid Performance Analysis: Collaborate with post-bid review teams to evaluate the success and effectiveness of bid strategies. Identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned in future bids.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously enhance bid management processes, tools, and templates to improve efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications:
**Requirements and Qualifications**:
To qualify, you must have
- 10 + years of experience in Bid management, UAE experience would be an advantage
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, ability to communicate and influence cross-functional teams
- Ability to work with virtual and cross function teams
- Exposure and conceptual understanding of contract law and pricing
- Strong commercial acumen and business understanding
- Ability to manage both internal and customer relationships
- Excellent leadership qualities being team orientated, with strong relationship and interpersonal skills
- Advanced negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management abilities
- Command of financial metrics and tools
- Proficiency in Arabic is preferred, not mandatory
- Ability to travel when needed
