We are a Home Maintenance company based from Al Barsha Dubai

We are looking to hire a General Accountant with a minimum work experience of 5 years.

Key Responsibilities:

- Compile all supplier invoices for approval and filing.
- Help to compile VAT returns & Filing
- Reconciling team time-sheets and reporting accordingly
- Planning and arranging material shipments (import/export)
- Track office licenses, leases and insurances.
- Account reconciliation and collection calls.
- Project cost tracking.
- Controlling sub-contractor paperwork and submissions.
- Issuance of contractual documents.
- Managing and tracking stock inventory across multiple sites.
- Raising purchase orders tracking payments.
- Regular communication and reporting to the accounts department at HQ in Canada
- Scheduling travel arrangements and placing bookings.

Experience
- Minimum of 3 years GCC based accountancy background
- Appropriate accountancy qualifications and degrees.
- Experience is implementing systems and procedures to ensure an efficient operation and adherence to regulations.
- Strong knowledge of VAT legislation within the GCC region.
- Fluent in English (written and verbal).
- Must be maticulously organised and able to prioritize a varied workload
- Knowledge of freight and customs procedures.
- Proficiency of full MS Office package, particularly Excel.

**Salary**: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Al Barsha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
