Academy Administrator - Post 16

Post Title - Post 16 / Academy Administrator (non-teaching)

Reporting to - Secondary Vice Principal (Head of Post-16)

Tenure - 2023/2024 Academic Year

Overview
- The Post-16 / Academy Administrator will have primary responsibilities to support administration in Post-16.
- They may, in addition be required to support other administration areas in the school as directed by their line manager

Key roles and responsibilities
- To assist in all administration related to core aspects of IBDP and IBCP programmes
- Support the admissions process of new students into Post-16 through procurement of references and reports from previous school;
- The generation and management of data from ManageBac and iSAMS to assist the Post-16 Leadership Team with data for tracking progress
- To lead on the administration of student access to, and usage of, online platforms such as Managebac, Kognity, UCAS, Common App etc.
- To liaise with external agencies such as Managebac, Kognity et al, and support the school's finance department with the processing of invoices
- To support the examinations officer in the coordination of all KS4 exams including mocks;
- To assist with the coordination of all Post-16 exams including mocks, and end of year examinations - this includes the collection and distribution of exam papers and the assigning of invigilators;
- Assist with the production of Post-16 promotional materials and marketing events
- Any other tasks as deemed reasonably appropriate by line manager and fitting with skills and hours of work

Person

Personal Skills
- Working knowledge of school related software - iSAMs, IBIS, Managebac, is an advantage
- Ability to learn new software quickly, is essential
- Experience of and/or awareness of many if not all aspects of the role as described above
