**Coatings Quality Assurance Manager Job Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and manage the quality assurance system for coatings manufacturing operations.

- Establish and maintain quality control procedures, including inspection, testing, and documentation protocols.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, research and development, and supply chain, to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.

- Develop and deliver quality training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of manufacturing personnel.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in coatings technology, industry best practices, and quality assurance methodologies.

**Coatings Quality Assurance Manager Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in quality assurance within the coatings industry, with a focus on manufacturing operations.
- Strong knowledge of coatings manufacturing processes, quality control procedures, and industry standards.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards, such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
- Experience in conducting audits, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.
- Proficient in quality management tools and methodologies, such as Six Sigma and statistical process control.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a commitment to ensuring the highest level of product quality.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with coatings testing methods, including adhesion, gloss, hardness, and corrosion resistance.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to the coatings industry.
- Certification in quality management systems is an advantage.
