**Coatings Technical Sales Manager Job Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base in the coatings industry.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs, and providing technical solutions and support.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, and networking activities.
- Collaborate with the technical team to understand customer requirements and provide timely and accurate technical information and recommendations.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales deals.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new market opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to management.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth order fulfilment.

**Coatings Technical Sales Manager Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field. A technical background in coatings is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the coatings industry, with a successful track record of achieving sales targets and building customer relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence customers at various levels.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage the sales process from prospecting to closing deals.
- Strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
