They specialize in high-quality coatings solutions for a wide range of industries, including automotive, aerospace, marine, and construction. Their commitment to innovation, customer satisfaction, and technical excellence has established has as a market leader.

**Vice President (VP) of Coatings Technical Sales Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute the sales strategy for the coatings division, aligning it with overall company goals and objectives.
- Lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve sales targets and drive revenue growth.
- Identify new business opportunities, establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and industry partners.
- Utilize your technical expertise to effectively communicate the value and benefits of our coatings products to customers and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling sales materials, presentations, and product demonstrations.
- Stay updated with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify strategic opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.
- Provide market feedback and insights to internal teams for new product development and enhancements.
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to promote our brand and expand the customer base.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.

**Vice President (VP) of Coatings Technical Sales Qualifications and Experience**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in technical sales, preferably in the coatings industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse sales team.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships based on trust and value creation.
- Proactive, result-oriented, and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
