Assistant Purchase Manager

**Responsibilities**
- Understand purchasing needs and develop strategies to ensure cost-effective procurement
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any discrepancies.
- Researches and evaluates vendors to compare pricing and services.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers, taking into account quality, delivery, and other factors
- Manage inventory levels and stock turnover.
- Ensures quality of procured items and addresses problems when they arise.
- Confer with plant management regarding volume and import purchases
- Be in touch with suppliers when required for change in orders or their confirmation.
- Stay abreast of new development in the field.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Seafood industry.
- Working knowledge of procurement, logistics and inventory management practices.
- Great understanding of the market and current market trends.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Well Versed with Import procedures.
- Good time management abilities.
**Salary**: Up to AED7,000.00 per month
