Purchasing Officer

We are looking for a smart Purchase Officer / Coordinator. In this role, you are responsible for managing organizational aspects and coordination with all suppliers and other departments.
**Job Description**:
- Develop purchasing strategies and identify buying trends to keep the business profitable
- Conduct self-guided research to become familiar with what products are available as well as their costs and benefits
- Search available products to find the best combination of quality, price, and delivery
- Preparing invoices (for all services) and ensuring timely delivery.
- Responsible for purchases including arranging quotations.
- Responsible for issuing LPO to suppliers upon approval, and all ensure receipt/ collection upon delivery of purchased items.
- Negotiate policies and contracts with various suppliers
- Manage deliveries to confirm compliance with contracts
- Monitor stock levels and verify purchase requisitions
- Identify damaged or defective goods and work out an alternative solution with the supplier
- Keep detailed records and prepare and submit necessary reports
- Maintain professional relationships with all key suppliers
- Coordinate with internal and external customers and manage all pricing and availability of all products and develop purchase orders for all purchasing systems and manage all communications for the order.
- Coordinate with vendors/Suppliers to maintain knowledge on all product and delivery schedules and oversee all personnel training programs and evaluate the same and manage work with sales and purchasing departments.
- Manage all communication with all vendors and track all orders and resolve any issues on the same and assist to obtain all materials and prepare required request orders and analyze all samples and ensure the purchase of all materials within the required time frame.
Requirements and Qualifications
- At least 2 years of purchasing experience in UAE ( F&B / Constriction )
- Extensive knowledge of products
- Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills
- Analytical and mathematical capabilities in order to compare prices and quantities and consider vendor contract terms
- Ability to evaluate market conditions and various suppliers
- Keen eye for detail
- Willingness to make quick and thoughtful decisions on behalf of the business
- Effective relationship-building skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, supply chain management, or a related field
