Job Purpose: Manage external stakeholders by maintaining effective and professional relationships with key contacts in relevant UAE government entities and act as a liaison to manage transactions, documentation and communications to ensure a smooth and continuous flow of operations within the Emirates Group.

Job Outline:

- Review and prepare statements and reports accurately and in a timely manner to meet the Emirates Group requirements in line with existing policies and standards. Ensuring the quality of the content of information appears in the internal systems and timely updates.
- Support and assist on various projects and initiatives related to Government processes as required by HR Manager People Operations & Solutions Delivery to streamline and enhance people experience.
- Act as a first escalation point to clarify any policy issues in relation to all government-related matters. Responsible for resolution of operational issues or problems arising on a daily basis establishing root cause and implementing action to resolve. Identify and deliver improved working methods/practices.
- Maintain updated communications and information regarding government related transactions and ensure this is effectively communicated through the relevant channels to help employees have a better understanding of government related processes.
- Maintain an updated, in-depth understanding of government laws, keeping abreast of the changes and advising Emirates Group on the best practice to ensure compliance.
- Organise all routine processing of Immigration documents e.g. residence, work permits, Emirates ID, and visas etc., to complete all the necessary legal formalities for employees.
- Monitor and analyse pending legislation and regulations that may impact the organisation's operations and alert management to explore alternatives and undertake appropriate action.

Qualifications & Experience: Human Resources. Other:
Essential: 12 yrs schooling or equivalent with five years of government relations experience or

Desirable: A post-graduate diploma with two years of government relations experience

4+ years of experience of working in or dealing with the UAE Government: Immigration, Customs, Police, Embassies and other UAE authorities.

Knowledge/skills:

- Knowledge of government laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of Immigration, Customs, and Ministry of Interior (MoI) laws in the UAE.
- Demonstrated ability to operate independently. Sound judgment and integrity.
- Exceptional multi-tasking, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under the pressure of constant deadlines.
- Able to provide 24 hours 7 days/week duty roster coverage, for out of office hours emergencies.
