Government Relations Officer

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Property Registration and Ownership Change**:
- Oversee all aspects of property registration processes via government portals and platforms.
- Manage ownership change procedures, including sale cancellations, settlement agreements, and technical data registration for project re-registration.
- Facilitate the processing of payments for government fees through relevant channels.
**2. Government Relations**:
- Maintain effective communication with key stakeholders, including government agencies such as DLD, RERA, DDA, DCD, DEWA, and RTA.
- Stay updated on regulations, process changes, and circulars issued by relevant government authorities.
- Provide timely updates and information on requirements and criteria to internal team members.
**3. Compliance and Governance**:
- Support in conducting visibility studies to ensure compliance and governance standards are met.
- Assist in reconciliation processes to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
**4. Collaboration and Coordination**:
- Work closely with internal project teams to register technical data for new projects and manage reconciliation processes.
- Please make sure with appointed survey companies to facilitate the registration of technical project data.
**5. Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of payments, settlement agreements, and property registration activities.
- Prepare utilization reports and payment records for internal documentation and reporting purposes.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in government relations, preferably within the real estate development sector.
- Strong understanding of government regulations and procedures related to property registration and ownership change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with government officials and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in utilizing government portals and platforms for property registration and payment processing.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to conduct reconciliations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in English and Arabic.
