The Accountant in the Food and Beverage industry is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing support for financial decision-making within the F&B establishment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Financial Record Keeping**:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the F&B establishment.
Record daily financial transactions, including sales, expenses, and inventory.

**Financial Reporting**:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Generate reports on key financial metrics and performance indicators.

**Budgeting and Forecasting**:
Assist in the development of annual budgets.
Monitor budgetary performance and provide variance analysis.
Contribute to financial forecasting based on historical data and market trends.

**Accounts Payable and Receivable**:
Process and verify invoices for payment.
Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections.

**Bank Reconciliation**:
Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Monitor cash flow and report on liquidity.

**Tax Compliance**:
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and filing requirements.
Collaborate with external tax advisors to optimize tax strategies.

**Inventory Management**:
Monitor and reconcile inventory levels with financial records.
Contribute to the valuation of inventory and cost of goods sold.

**Audit Support**:
Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits.
Provide necessary documentation and explanations during audit processes.

**Financial Analysis**:
Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights to management.
Support decision-making by providing financial information and recommendations.

**Process Improvement**:
Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial procedures.
Implement efficiency measures to streamline accounting processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
- Proven experience in accounting roles, preferably in the F&B industry.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

**Salary**: AED5,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
