As the Business Development Manager for the steel and aluminium industry, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives to expand our market share, identify new business opportunities, and foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Your primary objective will be to drive revenue growth and increase profitability within the designated market segment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and revenue objectives in the steel and aluminium industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and networking activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers to enhance our market position and capitalize on emerging trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, operations, and finance, to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
- Conduct regular market analysis and competitive intelligence to stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and market dynamics.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions with clients, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with company objectives.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and sales pitches to prospective clients, showcasing our products, capabilities, and value proposition.
- Monitor and track sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and business development KPIs to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and technological advancements relevant to the steel and aluminium sector.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and establish thought leadership.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in business development or sales roles within the steel and aluminium industry, with a deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
- Strong technical knowledge of steel and aluminium products, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute business plans, prioritize initiatives, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in market research, data analysis, and financial modeling.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a passion for driving growth and exceeding targets.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
