Ensure that all project-related revenue, costs, and overhead are booked, allocated, and classified as per IFRS and aligned with company requirements.
- Supervise the books of accounts and perform bookkeeping functions wherever necessary.
- Generate trial balance, analyze, reconcile, book monthly closing entries, and prepare supporting schedules for the balance sheet and income statement.
- Handle project costing, cost allocation, pricing, budgeting, and variance reports.
- Ensure that timesheets are submitted and approved on a weekly basis with all department heads, report redundancies in timesheet, and analyze and report staff costs by project.
- Assist project managers with overall project accounting from start to finish, taking ownership of the systems required for this.
- Produce monthly profitability reports for projects, including reporting on project variances between actuals and budgets, and updating forecasts.
- Support procurement functions and coordinate with purchasing and project managers.
- Handle project invoicing according to contracts and purchase orders, and follow up on payments.
- Process supplier purchase orders, book invoices, and handle payment processes.
- Verify staff expense claims and submit them for approvals.
- Handle petty cash for administration, projects, and drivers, and prepare reports and bookings.
- Support the finance manager with month-end closing procedures, reporting, operational tasks, and other ad hoc tasks.
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly forecasts and cash flow projections.
- Observe and understand the work of other members of the finance team, and support/help them with their tasks.
- Handle company administration tasks such as legal and compliance documentation, client and supplier registration, coordinate the approval process, and serve as the main contact point between various stakeholders within and outside the company.

**Experience**:

- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience as an Accountant in the U.A.E.

Abilities & Skills:

- Strong technical knowledge and experience in financial & cost accounting
- Good knowledge in IFRS
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good commercial understanding
- Expert in excel
- Able to work with less supervision
- Logical & Good attention to detail
