Projects HR Advisors are expected to liaise directly with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation in order to communicate and secure alignment on critical projects, taking ownership to ensure targets are set and reported on in a timely and transparent manner; embedding global strategies, processes and plans into day-to-day work, providing operational support and advice to prioritize and manage people needs within the Area.

As a key member of the Human Resources Team the HR Advisor Projects will be expected to perform with a high level of autonomy with the ability to make swift decisions. Therefore, a comprehensive understanding of Seadrill HR system’s and procedures is considered extremely desirable.

**JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Understand the nature of offshore recruitment, how people budgets are set and acting as a conduit between projects, rig team and the wider HR population.
- Develop strategic planning with rig leadership and take ownership of the operational HR function. Lead/support all assigned projects, initiatives and processes as required.
- Monitor and continually improve communication with offshore rig leadership to ensure efficient execution of rig business.
- Coordinate and accommodate “First Hitch” interviews / appraisals with new / promoted / relocated employees & supervisors.
- Direct high-level reporting on project process with an ability to put forward business cases for decisions made within Projects.
- Facilitate the creation of people strategies within area, collaborating with Seadrill stakeholders to understand current and future needs, and creating plans in alignment with Seadrill strategy to ensure achievement of objectives.
- Manage the delivery of operational HR activities throughout the employee lifecycle (including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, well-being initiatives, organization restructures, exit processes, etc.).
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HR Function programs and policies, providing feedback on local requirements and success of initiatives to ensure fit-for-purpose HR interventions.
- Work directly across the HR function as a source of knowledge for establishing best practices and providing innovative solutions to meet business needs.
- Effectively leverage HR data and insights to inform people related decision making and program design for maximum impact.
- Take ownership of own development as well as sharing knowledge and experience with other members of the global HR team.
- Ensure Seadrill compliance with local labour regulations, including operational and transit country regulations where applicable.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as Clients, Third Party Vendors and Visa Agents.
- Compliance with Seadrill regulatory and client requirements, including: the Seadrill Code of Conduct; and training, certification, and competence requirements, promptly identifying, reporting, and actioning non-compliance.
- Engage in stakeholder management across all levels of the organisation with an ability to generate consensus on business decisions.
- Serve as the point of contact for all HR/ project manning related queries.
