**SECTION I: JOB PURPOSE**

The Smart Maritime Project Schedule coordinator is directly responsible for coordinating and planning business projects and work closely with project managers - primarily organizes project planning, execution, and monitoring. Smart Maritime project schedule coordinator develops and manages schedules for projects for Smart MP. This includes assisting project managers with schedule planning, coordinate tasks, and monitor the timelines of scheduled assignments. The role is responsible to identify potential scheduling delays and facilitate mitigation plans.

**SECTION II: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**

Key Responsibilities:

- Support international business project scope and objectives to ensure the timely delivery projects along with project feasibility formulated by digital cluster.
- Reports on progress, delays, and other planning issues for project.
- Assist the Project Manager in the accurate and timely completion of all project documentation.
- Lead and consult with project managers and technical experts to set up assignments, tasks, and subtasks.
- Lead the Development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective scheduling management system.
- Support the team in coordinating project timelines with internal and external stakeholders.
- Identifying potential project schedule delays and facilitating intervention in a timely manner.
- Evaluating performance against actual planning and preparing project progress reports.
- Coordinate with all vendors and contractors to make sure all dependent project schedules are centralized and reported accordingly.
- Lead and report updates and changes to project schedules.
- Proposing actions to keep projects completed on time.
- Keeping all stakeholders informed and reported of project timelines and deadlines.
- Documenting project scheduling processes and maintaining records.
- Oversee project planning for all projects, mitigate risks, and resolve issues.
- Any other tasks assigned by the Manager or Director.

Educational and Technical Qualifications:
**Professional & Technical Competencies**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science/ Engineering / Info System Management

**Behavioural Competencies**
- Ability to translate ideas into action and results
- Ability to draw business insights and analysis
- Excellent time management and planning
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and team player
- Problem-solver; analytical bent of mind
- Interest in marketplaces, technology, and ports sector
- Ability to keep up with fast-paced deadlines and changes

Language Skills:

- English - Good Written and Spoken. Arabic - good to have.

Years of Experience:

- Min 5 Years’ Experience in medium to complex projects.

Nature of Experience:

- Min 3 years’ experience in a related industry.
