**Strategic Alliance Manager East Africa & Southern Cluster, based in Middle East Africa
- **Drive the governance and the execution **of the alliance, build beneficial relation with the appointed regional player that is in line with the business objectives and the strategic goals to maximize the long-term value of the partnership. Lead all initiatives geared toward operational excellence. Play a significant rolein long-term planning and the strategy setting
- **Deliver with impact **, drive performance to maximize growth for the well-established portfolio and the new launches. Track and analyses the ongoing progress, set the performance KPIs, including but not limited to; sales performance, Ex
- factory and inland, customer engagement, set the alliance's team structure, check their capabilities, put in place the corrective actions to boost performance. Filters, prioritizes, analyses, and validates market data, give continuous feedback to the management team
- **Business development**:proactively seek opportunity to extend and expand our footprint in Africa, including but not limited to, the access to new markets and new launches.
- **Risk Mitigation**:identify important value drivers and key risks. Leading all efforts to mitigate risks, resolve issues through interaction with both internal and external stakeholders and make good business decisions in close cooperation with relevant stakeholders. Maximize the value of alliance to strengthen our footprint in Africa EA/SC
- **Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate **promotional efforts with peers across department. Build robust, interactive cross-functional collaboration between internal stakeholders; commercial, Medical, compliance, Finance, legal, and alliance teams to drivepartnerships forward.Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of alliance
- **Market Access**:build/develop and expand relationships and networks with key stakeholders (incl. but not limited to regional payers, public administration, health authorities, insurance companies, pharmacist-groups etc. According to the stakeholder map to identify business opportunities or issues impacting the potential for the company's pipeline product.
- **Governmental affairs**:establishing a strong networkwith policy makers and payers to gain accelerated access to key decision makers and influencers.

**The job holder must possess the following knowledge and/or capabilities:
- A pharmacist or University Degree is required (preferably in pharmaceutical sciences or similar) with + 10 years' experience in pharmaceutical sales/marketing industry in managerial roles.
- Resource-Planning and Decision-Making
- High Leadership & Coaching Skills. Ability to transfer knowledge and develop team members Skills and unleash the potential in each team member.
- High mobility, requires frequent travel to the region
