JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the day-to-day running of the restaurant and managing team members. Achieve sales and profitability targets, provides excellent customer service, meeting operations standards, cost and inventory control, food quality and safety.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES (Key Areas)
1. Budgeting and Financials
- Ensures to achieve restaurant target (sales/food cost variance/ labor/utilities/other financials) as set in the Business Plan.
- Ensure the restaurant meets the business plan, monthly and quarterly business reviews.
- Review key financial variables and coordinate with the director to improve sales and communicate to the team.2. Operational and safety Excellence
- Ensure the team maintains great product quality and consistency.
- coordinate with the head chef to sure to have proper stocks of all products to cover forecasted sales for the day / Week.
- Check and ensure proper inventory management in line with forecasted sales.
- Make sure the team is always providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure restaurant achieves service standards.
- Ensure to maintain cleanliness of exterior and interior of the restaurant.
- Ensure restaurant timings are displayed for the customer and executed properly.
- Ensure the team to wear complete uniform, follow proper grooming and personal hygiene standards.
- Ensure to check and monitor equipment temperatures, and make sure to practice municipality and food safety guidelines.
- Make sure all products are within shelf life and with proper temperatures, properly tag with expiration dates.
- Ensure effective pest control is done regularly and call the pest control company as needed.
- Ensure the team is practicing proper hand washing, wearing aprons and hand gloves before making products.
- Ensure to follow loss prevention policy and procedures guidelines.
- Manage and control the food variance within limits
- Been responsible for the inventory management.
3. Managing a team
- Prepare weekly team member’s schedule.
- Ensure to plan the periodic vacation calendar.
- Monitor and perform monthly evaluation for each employee in the store.
- Make sure team members understand and practice the Incentive Schemes and Bonus Criteria.
- Motivate team members and maintain a good working environment with teamwork.JOB SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS
A. Education and Experience
▪ Bachelor’s Degree Graduate Preferably in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Business Management, Marketing or any business-related course
▪ With at least 2 years’ experience as Restaurant Manager i
▪ Customer Service Oriented
▪ Proficient in Russia and English, both verbal and written communication skills
▪ With strong leadership skills
▪ Good in problem solving and with strong analytical skills
▪ Self-motivated and dynamic personality
