**Full job description**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Production and Preparation**:
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of all pastry items, including desserts, cakes, pastries, bread, and other baked goods.
- Ensure all recipes, portioning, and presentation standards are adhered to, maintaining consistency in quality and taste.
- **Operational Support**:
- Collaborate with the Pastry team to execute daily production plans.
- Work closely with other kitchen sections to coordinate timely and accurate food preparation.
- **Quality and Hygiene**:
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety in the pastry kitchen.
- Adhere to HACCP guidelines and other health and safety regulations.
- **Inventory Management**:
- Assist in monitoring and managing pastry ingredients, ensuring proper storage and stock rotation.
- Communicate any inventory shortages or equipment malfunctions to the Pastry Chef.
- **Training and Mentorship**:
- Support junior team members and trainees by sharing knowledge, techniques, and best practices.
- Participate in ongoing training and skill development programs.
- **Creativity and Innovation**:
- Contribute to the development of new pastry and dessert recipes.
- Stay updated on pastry trends and incorporate innovative techniques into the menu.
- **Team Collaboration**:
- Maintain a positive working environment by fostering strong teamwork and communication.
- Ensure a smooth handover during shift changes and assist in managing the pastry section in the absence of the Chef de Partie.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,500.00 per month
