The Role
A document controller is responsible for managing and organizing all project-related documents for a leading construction consultancy. This includes maintaining accurate records, ensuring timely distribution of documents, and implementing document control procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards. Key Responsibilities: - Manage and maintain all project documents, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents. - Create and maintain a document control system to ensure that all project documents are accurately recorded, distributed, and archived. - Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of all project documents before distribution. - Coordinate with project teams to ensure that all documents are submitted on time and in the correct format. - Ensure that all project documents are properly labeled, filed, and stored in accordance with company standards. - Monitor and track document revisions and maintain a log of all changes and updates. - Provide support to project teams by retrieving and distributing requested documents in a timely manner. - Ensure that all project documents are in compliance with company policies and procedures. - Train and assist project team members in document control procedures and systems. - Collaborate with other departments to improve document control processes and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. - Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in document control, preferably in the construction industry. - Excellent organizational and time management skills. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Proficient in using document management systems and software. - Knowledge of construction project management processes and procedures. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Proficient in English, both written and spoken. - Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively. - Competent user of Acconex or other document control system.
